Dr. De Wit's research centers around the physiological, cognitive, and behavioral effects of a wide range of drugs and psychedelic substances in healthy adults. Her recent research has examined the prosocial effects of MDMA, the impacts of LSD, THC, and amphetamines on neural complexity and cognitive processing, and the efficacy of microdosing. Dr. De Wit has been a consultant for the FDA and serves as a lead editor for the journals Psychopharmacology and Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research.
