Mediaite's "The Interview" is back with an exciting new episode: Diana Falzone, who joined Mediaite as a senior reporter, is also joining Aidan McLaughlin as a host on the podcast. For her debut episode, she interviews Michael Teter, a lawyer for Ray Epps, the Jan. 6 protestor who was cast as a federal agent by Tucker Carlson on his erstwhile Fox News show as part of the conspiracy theory that the Capitol riot was a false flag attack. Epps, who says he lost his business and home amid death threats fueled by Carlson's coverage, is now suing Fox News and its former top host for defamation. Falzone and Teter discuss the case, Fox's coverage, and the destructive impact of conspiracy theories.
