As we approach the spring season, I wanted to touch base because we are about to get into the most important time for recruiting. When March 1st comes next week the college baseball recruiting season will be in full swing, and college coaches will be looking for talented players to add to their teams. If you're a high school player with dreams of playing at the collegiate level, now is the time to start putting yourself out there and making connections with coaches. But where do you begin? That is what we will cover in today's episode. This episode will be a great resource for players just starting to navigate the recruiting process or who want a better direction. Here are some important things to remember as you approach the recruiting process. First and foremost, be proactive! Don't wait for coaches to come to you – reach out to them and express your interest in their program. Be sure to keep your grades up, as academic performance can be a deciding factor for many coaches. And finally, don't forget to have fun! Playing baseball at the college level is an incredible opportunity, and the recruiting process can be an exciting journey if you approach it positively.
