Scripture 2 Samuel 21:1-6, 9-14. This sermon is about what happens in generations to come and to our own children when we, as parents and grandparents, don't "raise them up in the way they should go" and don't take them to church. It is also about the church that doesn't direct its programs to meet the community's needs. If we don't do now what we should, generations to follow will suffer. This sermon was preached in 1983.
