It’s not often we live in times that rightly deserve the description, “historic.” But for our local Church, this is truly one of those times. It’s been 82 years since our last Synod. The decisions made in the next few months will shape and guide our Archdiocese for decades—maybe a century—to come. Next up in the Synod process is parish consultation through small groups. Jean Stolpestad, Director of the Archdiocesan Office of Marriage, Family, and Life is with us to tell us what parishes are doing to get ready for this important step.
