The fall armyworm poses threats to the Philippine agriculture sector that may potentially affect the livelihood of smallholder farmers and challenge food security in the country. In this first webinar on the Biosecurity Threats in Agriculture, we share what the ASEAN will be doing to mitigate the risks and prevent FAW to create greater damage to the agriculture sector in the region. We invited Alison Watson, the Program Manager of Grow Asia for ASEAN Action Plan on FAW Control, and Dr. Jedeliza Ferrater from East West Seed who talked about the plan, and some technical aspects surrounding FAW.
