Powered by Energy&Soul was founded by NJ promoter, Chenelle Mayers for the "soul" purpose of representing the universal sound of deep House which is a spiritually healing and unifying force that spans the globe. Her influence came from the deep roots of the underground scene in New Jersey after meeting DJ DISCIPLE, resident DJ at Club 280 and legendary classic soul DJ, ANDREW HOGANS, resident DJ at the legendary Zanzibar; both venues were based out of Newark, NJ. 280, Zanzibar, Groove Thang (Sensations), Club America, Shelter (Hubert St) among many others made a strong imprint on Chenelle's love for House and music as a whole.

In July of 2010, Powered by Energy&Soul was founded and birthed its first party, LoveHouse which featured renowned DJ and producer, DJ BELOVED. To date, additional parties include; Femme Fatale, LiveMix, and LoveHouse Extended. Resident DJ's for LoveHouse are DJ DISC and DJ MANNUP, accomplished and legendary DJ's based out of House Central, New Jersey.
