Joseph Dowling was appointed Chief Executive Officer of CV Sciences in May 2018, following four years of serving as Chief Financial Officer at the industry-pioneering company behind the hemp-derived CBD brand PlusCBD. As head of a wellness company, Mr. Dowling strongly believes in the power of plant-based and science-backed ingredients like CBD to support a happier, healthier life. To ensure consumers are informed and have access to safe, high-quality wellness products. CV Sciences is developing a first-of-its-kind CBD-based treatment for smokeless tobacco addiction. Prior to entering the wellness space, Mr. Dowling held executive positions in the biotech and finance industries. Mr. Dowling graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in Economics and is a certified public accountant.
