Listen "Summer Land Camels - Paul Martin"
Episode Synopsis
I first rode a camel in Africa, but I never tasted camel milk gelato or camel milk cheese until I visited Summer Land Camels on Queensland's Scenic Rim. Camel milk is becoming increasingly popular with people who are cow's milk intolerant. Paul Martin is a cattleman, who has become a camel convert. He farms 800 head at Summer Land Camels and produces a range of camel milk, skincare products as well as cheeses, gelato and milk. I just love this picture I took at Summer Land Camels, where the kids can take a ride, see the camels being milked and top it off with delicious camel milk treats!
