Richard the steer loves to nudge golfers as they putt, he enjoys a wander round the Mt Isa golf course and welcomes campers. Margie McElligott inherited Richard as a calf and added the steer to her menagerie of pets. Margie grew up in outback Australia. As a youngster she ran free on a million acre cattle property at Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory.
