Sometimes you may be watching a movie sequel, or a TV show and you may be thinking; "What happened to my beloved character? Why are they so bad when they have no reason to be bad?" Well, that is called "Character Assassination" and that means that for some reason, they take a great and beloved character and take all of their good traits and YEET them out the window. Now, the flip side of that is when you're watching a TV show and you're thinking, "Wow, I used to hate this character and now I love them!" Well, that is what I call "Character Addition" and that is when a character changes for the better and we understand why they did what they did.
