Zakiyyah Austin was born and raised in Essex County, New Jersey. She is a mom to 2 teen daughters, an entrepreneur, and a survivor. Zakiyyah has an insurance agency, the Z Austin Agency, in Woodbridge, NJ, where she also raised her daughters and enjoyed a real estate career for more than 10 years. She holds a securities license and is extremely passionate about helping others by sharing invaluable information, connecting people, and through her insurance work. Zakiyyah believes authentic partnerships are priceless and very necessary in various aspects of life. 
After a near-death experience, Zakiyyah lives life with pure gratitude for each day. She believes you learn so much about yourself and the people around you when you take time to simply still yourself and your mind and press reset on your energy to re-focus.
