Cognizance is a key aspect of living in the moment and living in a fulfilled manner. Today's busy life forces us to play so many roles that we lose this aspect of living, somewhere in daily stress. As a result, we develop a certain dissonance toward the happenings around us. We tend to unconsciously filter things and remain passive when we perhaps, need to act, and vice versa. It doesn't hit home until its someone we know or love who is amidst a situation. We need to develop empathy, kindness, and the ability to act for the greater good, no matter what!
