Nathan Crankfield is a 2015 graduate of Mount St. Mary's College in the Army ROTC. After completing Army Airborne and Ranger Schools, he served three years as an officer in the US Army, including a combat tour of duty in Afghanistan during which he was awarded with the Bronze Star.
