Through the examination of a digital recording of spoken word performance, identify relationship(s) between an oral performance of embodied memory and cathartic activity? Does the performance create a culture of knowing capable of promoting spiritual health for the performer(s)? A phenomenological approach viewed through a performance studies lens will aide in examining possible variables and products relating to the performance may include, but not be limited to (lyrics, embodied memory, catharsis, divination, liminality).
