I am so excited to welcome Annette Richmond to the Peach, Please! Podcast! A self-proclaimed Fat Girl, Annette is a staunch supporter of the Body Positive Movement. Traveling is her latest obsession and she has visited 19 countries in the last three years and doesn't plan on stopping (except for a minor setback called COVID-19). After seeing a lack of diversity and inclusivity in travel marketing and media she created Fat Girls Traveling. The Instagram profile grew into a community of over 19K that has transformed into a movement and made Annette a voice for Fat Travelers. She is also the Editor of Fat Girls Guide, the official blog for Fat Girls Traveling, and a contributor at Ravishly. In this conversation, Annette and I discuss the ever changing relationships with our bodies, the power social media can have in that relationship, and of course, traveling.
