Dr Maggie Hoerger, president of the UKSBA joins Paddy and Jo to discuss the recognition of PBS qualifications, including BTEC levels 4,5, 6 and 7 and how they align with the credentialing within the UKSBA. They discuss the importance of the professional qualification and that credentialling recognises the level of expertise of professionals. Maggie explains that joining the UKSBA means PBS professionals are agreeing to follow the UKSBA ethical code and are therefore values led whilst being safe and ethical practitioners. Maggie shares that the development of the competencies for the recognition of the PBS qualifications were developed alongside members with an expertise in PBS.
