Listen "MagmaChem Special: Ukrainian Rocks"
Episode Synopsis
We thought it would be great to make a show on the coolest Ukrainian rocks we know of - And the show does not disappoint. A unique mineral to Ukraine could be a leading piece of evidence of hydrothermal oil on Earth, Kerite, as known by Ukrainian scientists. It’s a hydrocarbon mineral with extreme temperature conditions and in a pegmatite that’s over 1.7 billion years old… We brought our world-renowned mineralogy expert Alfredo Petrov and MagmaChem’s own Ms. Lori Carrol in for the show. LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO!!
