Psalm 25:9 The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way.
As we engage in seeking the face of the Lord in these 21 days of fasting, He has given us a means by which we can humble ourselves before Him and this means of grace is fasting. (Psalms 35:13)
Proverbs 14:10 The heart knows its own bitterness, and a stranger does not share its joy.
Each of us knows the flaws, yokes, chains, and darkness that pervert our souls. This is the time/season to come into God's presence and ask Him to shine the Light into our hearts. (Proverbs 28:13)
In any area of your life where sin has taken root, you'll not know the prosperity of the Lord. You need to humble yourself and ask the Lord to reveal to you the little foxes that have been a source of hindrance to the flow of the grace of God in your life so that He may deal with them.
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
Certain things don't constitute sin but they slow us down (weights). What are those weights in your life that the Holy Spirit has been convicting you to let go of?
This is the season you need to ask the Holy Spirit to break those chains and lift the weights off your life so that you can realize your prophetic destiny as ordained by God.
Psalms 139:23-24 [23]Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; [24]And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.
Don't be so quick to say you're okay, you'll be amazed at what you see when the Lord shines the light in your heart. Ask the Lord to shine His light and expose any darkness, crookedness, attitude, desires, and activities that have stood in the way preventing God from manifesting in your life.
Not until you make it known: admit and confess, there is little God can do. This calls for brokenness in this season: admit what the issue is, ask God to deliver you, and help you walk the way of righteousness.
God spoke: His gonna do better things in our lives, but if we are going to manifest these words in our lives, we must walk as the Spirit of the Lord demands. Pay attention to the voice of the Spirit like Samuel (1 Samuel 3:10) But don't stop at hearing, begin to walk it. Walk and work in uprightness: align your walk and words to what the Spirit is saying.
Deuteronomy 1:6-7 [6] The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: [7] Turn you, and take your journey, …
How long are you gonna stay on that mountain while making excuses, and saying: "this is me"? Be broken and let the Lord do a purging in your mind and body. Let that light shining in your heart result in transformation: change the way you talk, imagine, and your attitude towards people.
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
We have received the mind of Christ, but are you manifesting it? It's one thing to receive and another to manifest what you have received. Let the mind of Christ dominate your reasoning, thinking, and imagination. (Proverbs 23:7)
You need to bring and allow your soul to come under the governance of the Holy Spirit. This will take your willful submission to His word and speaking. This is why the Lord is calling us to the feet of the Master.
The time has come in these 21 days, to ask the Lord that this season produce in your life a permanent transformation that your life and words reflect your faith that you may produce in you a permanent fruit.
