Caroline McCaskey, a multi-talented musician, is renowned for her skills on several instruments, including violin, viola, cello, piano, and the musical saw. She grew up in Sacramento and began playing at the young age of 11. Dubbed “prima donna assoluta of the saw” by the SF Symphony music director Michael Tilson Thomas after soloing on the saw with the SF Symphony in 2012, Caroline's exceptional musical talent has been recognized with various accolades, such as winning the 2019 US National Scottish Fiddle Championship and being a two-time winner of the International Musical Saw Championship.
