The start of season 5 was uneven: The shtick dial was turned up way too high in episodes 1 and 3, but episode 2 was a lovely look at Lester's life at the Arconia. Mentioned: Tony Plana (playing the doorman who mentored Lester) as grandfather Berto on the 2017 remake of One Day at a Time.Next Wednesday, we'll continue with season 5, episode 4, "Dirty Birds." We'll be back tomorrow with our weekly roundup.
