Talked with Stephanie Surrena, PR Specialist, Office of Public Engagement and Anthony Austin, Volunteer Coordinator, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. They have a lot of fun things happening in January to help listeners meet some of those New Year's resolutions. There are 5 different 5k Walk/Run events for those who want to be more fit. They have a couple historical reenactment events so we can learn from history. More opportunities for learning and giving back can be found by becoming a volunteer. Anthony coordinates the volunteers and they are looking for folks interested in history to become docents for the Dubois House.
