Maria Wulf is a professional drummer and educator specializing in Jazz. She can be seen performing in clubs and giving clinics throughout the Pacific Northwest. She has spent her life awkwardly navigating and succeeding in a male dominated field while overcoming feelings of self-doubt and stage fright. Performing music includes being put in the spotlight, often at unpredictable times and situations. The fear of failure has not stopped her from succeeding and reaching many of her life goals. She often uses the phrase Fail Often and Fail Forward. It’s through failure that we are given the opportunity to grow by addressing our shortcomings.
