I often hear people say, "I am blessed". To most people it means that they have things, money, position, or the general feeling that everything is going their way. On our trip this past week, I was thinking how blessed I am. But my reckoning is different than most. I was thanking the Lord for His provisions that made it possible to take this trip! To be blessed, according to the scripture is to be happy, or a heightened state of happiness and joy or a sense of well being.Over the years I have needed to remind myself where true blessing comes from and how to enjoy it. The word of God gives us many statements concerning this, and we will look at some today.
