Listen "14. How to Solve for Overwhelm"
Episode Synopsis
Getting overwhelmed and exhausted is something to which a lot of us can probably relate, and many of us also likely feel that it's necessary, especially if we want to meet our goals and succeed. I am here to tell you, however, that overwhelm is something that needs to be solved, not tolerated. I teach Thought Work, and I share with you how to use it to solve for overwhelm. Listen as I share what overwhelm is, what causes it, and how you can begin to use it as a signal so that you don't get stuck in it. Your long to-do list isn't what causes overwhelm. It's your thoughts about that to-do list that result in the overwhelm, and understanding that can begin to make a big difference. In order to reach a level of calm that will help us be more productive, we need to change what we think. Every problem has a solution, and that includes feeling overwhelmed. Show Highlights how overwhelm is not necessary to be successful what overwhelm is and what causes it how you can use overwhelm to your advantage how to avoid staying stuck in feeling overwhelmed why calm leads to more productivity why we need to change our thinking, not our circumstances Resources Sheila's Website Email me: [email protected]
