Mark Mahaney (USA) is a commercial and fine art photographer whose clients include Nike, IBM, The New Yorker, and Time Magazine. Mark is represented by Claxton Projects in New York and he works with Kominek Gallery in Berlin.  He recently published his first book, Polar Night, which focuses on the two-month dark period of the landscape in Alaska’s northernmost town of Utqiagvik. Join us as we talk about how he balances his commercial and personal work, what it was like making his first book, and the complexities of being an artist with a child during this time.
