Tulsi Vagjiani is a plane crash survivor, burns survivor as well as a renal failure and kidney transplant survivor. At aged 10, Tulsi was in a plane crash in which she lost her immediate family and sustained 45% (2nd and 3rd degree) burns to the face and body. Tulsi endured extensive years of bullying and low self-worth.
