Sarah Bougher has been the Groups Director at our East campus for the past 2 years. Sarah has a Masters in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell and has several years of experience in private practice counseling.• Tell us a little about you. Your current role at One Life and your experience and education in counseling. • So you focus and think about groups and connections here at One Life, first off why is that something that is important to you and why should it be important to other people?• How have you seen your life change through a relationship / friendship / connection? • Are there right ways to connect with other people and wrong ways? • How can being in community with other people help us restore? • How does it affect our mental health? • What about our spiritual life and growth? • What are things that we can ask to know if the community we are in (or aren't in) are good for us or actually harming us? • What about digital connection? Is so much of it actually harming us? • During the pandemic social isolation has been a big struggle for many of us - what would you tell people to do to help them as we seem to be slowly getting back to more face-to-face connections? • Marriages - What are some resources you would recommend for couples and parents for healthy relationships? • If you could give people one restorative practice to start with today - what would it be? (Doesn't have to be connection to people-focused - but it for sure can be)
