Shaun Morash and Paul Dottino are in talking a BIG BLUE WIN! The football gods have not been kind to the New York Football Giants of late and they didn't seem to be showing any favor on Sunday in Tennessee.
Football, however, is a 60 minute game - and the Giants fought for the full four quarters against the Titans. Trailing 13-0 at halftime and having all the hallmarks of ineptitude of years past, things... changed.
Shaun discusses how not all wins are created equal as this was a symbolic game for the franchise and the fanbase. Brian Daboll showed his metal going for two late in the fourth, and the shanked field goal for the Titans sealed the victory.
This was a vintage Saquon Barkley performance, marked by big plays and a back who looks healthy and maybe even a little wiser. Daniel Jones was not perfect, especially on a red zone interception, but did enough to keep the Giants on track.
With standout contributors on both sides of the ball, the hope is that the rest of the season goes as this game did - slow and steady, smart decisions and opportunities to win.
