Dr. Christoph Heilig sits down with Dr. Botner to discuss his recent book, The Apostle and the Empire: Paul's Implicit and Explicit Criticism of Rome. Dr. Christoph Heilig is the Leader of the International Junior Research Group “Focalization in Early Christian Texts: Retelling the Story of Jesus from Different Perspectives,” at the University of Munich. His published dissertation, Paulus als Erzähler? was awarded the 2022 Manfred Lautenschläger Award for Theological Promise.
