This is a special "On the Road" episode of OntheU. This episode is Part 1 of an audio diary kept by Steve and his nephew Eric while visiting the San Lucas Mission in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala.
The San Lucas Mission is operated by the Diocese of New Ulm in Minnesota. It offers a number of important programs to the people of San Lucas, including a medical clinic, parish school, reforestation project, woman's shelter, and a coffee collective.
