Later today, the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America (STAA) will name the top 20 collegiate sportscasters in the nation, with the top ranked student receiving the 12th Annual Jim Nantz Award. This week, we sat down with two past award winners, Josh Appel (USF) and Nate Gatter (Missouri) to talk everything Jim Nantz Award. We talk how they found the award, what they put into their applications and how they approached the judging process as judges for this year's award.
