All through scripture there are verses telling us to “delight in His word” – but I think for a lot of people – reading their Bible doesn’t actually bring them delight, but rather, they feel like they need to read it because “they are supposed to” instead of truly finding joy in reading. That is what I hope to challenge with this podcast. My goal is to open your eyes to the joy that comes from reading your Bible.
If you are someone that struggles with consistency, then this episode is for you, too – this was my biggest struggle. Consistency was not in my wheelhouse at all. I would start & restart the same study over & over again because I felt shame that I couldn’t start a study and finish it. Instead of allowing shame to separate you from reading your Bible – use it as an opportunity to thank God for His mercies & commit to yourself that you will pick up where you left off.
