In this week’s episode, Nicole speaks On Kindness with Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Dr. Brent Ridge, co-founders of Beekman 1802, the world’s largest goat milk soap company, where Kindness has been a core business strategy from day 0.  Josh and Brent share their story and speak about Kindness from numerous angles including Kindness as ‘the next harder cousin’ to being nice, Kindness as wellness and preventative healthcare, and Kindness as a business strategy. At Beekman 1802, each of their customers are ‘neighbors’ and they share about how they have built a powerful community of neighbors and growing business grounded in the practice of Kindness.  They remind us about how Kindness can be extra difficult in times of stress and when it feels like there is a lot of un-Kindness in the world.  They suggest that these are the times when everyone who believes in Kindness has to really work to make Kindness and they suggest making it a daily ritual, just as you would your skincare routine or any other daily habit you incorporate into your routine.
