Creative Process

To complete this task, I used one of my old songs as the foundation. I broke each track down into individual sequences, separating them strategically by 4 bars. This step allowed me to create space for innovation while preserving the integrity of the original composition.

Filling these spaces required a thoughtful approach. I selected new musical ideas based on their ability to complement the existing sequences while introducing fresh elements to the piece. Challenges included ensuring the new additions didn't overpower the original tracks and maintaining a cohesive flow throughout the composition. Through iterative experimentation and refinement, I crafted a balanced piece with dynamic contrasts that highlight both the original melodies and the newly added layers.
