Episode Synopsis

Family physician and child psychologist Dr. Leonard Sax debunks critics who argue that all-boys and all-girls schools don’t prepare children for the “real world.” He addresses the growing gender gap in academic achievement and reveals how both boys and girls benefit from single-sex education in mind, body, and spirit. He cites many international studies which show a lower risk of drug and alcohol abuse in girls who attend single-sex schools versus co-ed schools.
