Episode 6 of “Not Your Average Joel” is now out! This episode is different because I have no guest on here with me. However, I am talking about a topic that is near and dear to my heart which is special needs. I have a brother with special needs. In this video I speak about the challenges he goes through, the challenges I go through, and I talk about how society treats those with special needs in schools and in the workforce. This is all from my perspective and I understand everyone has a different journey when it comes to having a loved one who has a special need. I do get choked up a couple of times during this episode and it felt like a very humbling conversation even though I was basically having it by myself. I hope y’all enjoy and that y’all get something out of this.
