What is lacking in your spiritual life? If the Lord's statement to you was, "You are not far from the kingdom," what would be the thing that would be keeping you from being fully included.----------Most of us can list the things that keep us close: connection to a church family, a consistent prayer life, study and knowledge of His Word, etc. But defining and/or admitting that which holds us back can sometimes be more difficult.----------The writer of Hebrews reminds us that we must, "...throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles." Otherwise, we may just find ourselves not far from the kingdom, but not truly in it.
