If you lived your entire life waiting for something to happen and it never did…couldn’t that feel like a major disappointment? What if our success shouldn’t be measured by the results in our lifetime…but rather by our participation in God’s timeline? The truth is, we are not the beginning of our story! We are not the end of our story! Our story is not the Big Story! Our stories are all small parts of God’s Eternal Story!

One of the counter-cultural and counter-intuitive truths Jesus taught is that if we’re willing to NOT make ourselves the center of our lives, then our lives actually WILL take on greater meaning and significance! Luke 9:24–25 "For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits his soul?"

Is your life one of significance, belonging, purpose and meaning? In Christ it can be!
