The crew must not only battle the Borg but also help ensure that Earth’s future remains on track for a peaceful meeting with the Vulcans, which is crucial for the future of the United Federation of Planets.The film features Captain Jean-Luc Picard dealing with the trauma of his past assimilation by the Borg, and includes plenty of action, suspense, and philosophical themes around technology and human nature.
