Are we a cardboard cutout with regard to our faith or are we present and real? Jacob wrestled with God until he knew that he had been blessed by God (Genesis 32). On Remembrance Sunday we want to remember those people who have given their lives so that we might live fairly peacefully today, but we shouldn't aim to only have a faith where we remember the good days from the past. God still wants to touch us today.
