Listen "The Perils Of Indiscipline"

Episode Synopsis

Indiscipline is a portal. A portal through which destiny can be traded, legacies lost, and authority stripped.

The scriptures say, “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls” (Proverbs 25:28). A city without walls is vulnerable, open to invasion, manipulation, and desecration. Likewise, a man without discipline is an exposed vessel. He cannot carry the weight of kingdom responsibility.

Let us examine Esau. He was hungry, but his appetite became a weapon against him. For a morsel of meat, he sold his birthright. He had access to destiny, but no control over desire. Do you see it? Appetite will always test the integrity of your alignment.

And Reuben... oh, Reuben! The firstborn of Jacob. He had the right of inheritance. He had the right of strength. But he was unstable as water. One moment of lust with his father’s concubine, and that act of indiscipline disqualified him from generational headship. “Thou shalt not excel.” That was the judgment.

Brethren, indiscipline is not neutral. It is a thief, a demoter, a destroyer of spiritual rank. You can speak in tongues, but without self-control, you’re building without gates.

Discipline is not a gift, it is a crucifixion. It is death to self, appetite, impulse, and premature expression. If you must carry God’s agenda, you must first conquer yourself. Because until you have rule over your spirit, you are unfit to rule in the kingdom.
