While hiding on a rooftop from Tiger, Ananse sacrifices his hungry children one by one, throwing them down to be eaten. When Ananse falls asleep, his clever wife sews her skirt to his trousers. Upon waking, Ananse tries to throw her down too, but she remains attached to him. Ananse then tricks Tiger into building a trash heap for a safe landing.
