Episode Synopsis
As 2016 comes to an end who's begun to think about that dreaded resolution? Or perhaps you've given up on a resolution all together since they've never worked in the past. I know I stopped making resolutions about 3 years ago when just like the other 95% of the populations I've given up by the second week in January. The thing about the new year is that it's like the calendar telling us it's time for a fresh start. So I always liked the idea of a resolution but I always went about it the wrong way. In the past a resolution was simply a string of words I said the make myself feel better. Whether it was to fit in, or to justify the fact that maybe the last year I really have like hadn't accomplished much. . . I would puke out a resolution that would make me feel better about myself. The funny thing is that it was only temporary. Because come January 15 I usually ended up feeling worse because I wasn't even able to stick with something for 2 weeks! What is wrong with me?! Well I've discovered that the problem wasn't me, it was my approach. I was setting myself up for failure from the beginning. So this year I plan on starting a new tradition of setting myself up for success! Good bye abandoned resolutions! Hello successful and happy life!
