Episode Synopsis

This is Episode 175 of the My Morning Devotional Podcast. Find us on Instagram: @mymorningdevoPre-Order our 1st Workbook: www.mymorningdevo.coJoin me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Mark 6:31 which says "Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”"As we prepare for the weekend ahead of us, it is vital that we carve time out to unplug and find rest in Him. Find a quiet place and play some soft music. Instrumental music if you can, and talk to him. Paint, or mold clay, read a book do something that will take minimal effort but it will allow you to remove yourself from the noise of this world. I love that Jesus instructed those who did not have a chance to eat to go with him by themselves to a quiet place to get rest. It’s no coincidence that they couldn’t eat. I said this the other day, in our physical world we need food to survive. But in the spirit, we need to find quiet alone time with Jesus to thrive. I hope we all get some much needed rest this weekend."Support the showJoin The Community:@mymorningdevo on IGFacebook GroupYouTube ChannelGet To Know Ali:@alisondelamota on IGYouTube ChannelTap HERE to send us a text!
