Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of 1 Corinthians 10:13 which says "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." "The beautiful part of this verse is that He provides a way of escape, and once again the word from yesterday comes up and it says he provides us with a way of escape so that we may be able to endure it. So it got me thinking. Endurance. What does it mean? Well according to the dictionary, the definition is: the fact or power of enduring an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way. So I looked up, Endure. The definition of that is too suffer, patiently. It’s only day six on 2021 and man do I want to eat all the chocolate in the world. But I know that I made a commitment to myself. That I would become a person who values her health. So now, I need to endure. The beauty is that God gives me everything I need to do so. He gives it to me, and he gives it to you. What ever you are enduring, God has you protected. He’s given you the tools to get through today.
