Bill Horan and Stacy Raine learn about a non-profit foundation in Nassau County that is committed to spreading awareness of a disease called Neurofibromatosis, or NF, a common genetic disorder that causes the growth of tumors on nerve pathways anywhere in the body. They speak with Kate Doerge, the Chief Executive Officer of Penny’s Flight Foundation, named after her daughter Penny, who passed away after fighting NF in November 2022 at the age of 16.
