Turner's career began in the late 1950s when she teamed up with Ike Turner, her future husband, and musical partner. Together, they formed the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, which became famous for its high-energy performances and a string of hits, including "A Fool in Love," "River Deep – Mountain High," and "Proud Mary." Despite their professional success, Tina's marriage to Ike was tumultuous and marred by abuse, which she courageously detailed in her autobiography, "I, Tina." Hosted on Acast.
