Turner's career began in the late 1950s when she teamed up with Ike Turner, her future husband, and musical partner. Together, they formed the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, which became famous for its high-energy performances and a string of hits, including "A Fool in Love," "River Deep – Mountain High," and "Proud Mary."
