I liken a seed to a USB. It’s full of information that requires the right conditions for it to perform. It needs to be plugged into a port and linked with software to open up the encrypted information it contains. A seed, packed full of genetic information, requires the right conditions to turn it on. Contact with soil, moisture and, once opened, access to sunlight.
