That was actually my side hustle because I married into that symphony. My main gig was singing to children a.k.a. school aged audiences assembly programs for 40+ years. I keep Black History Month year round to help. I'm a Choctaw-Cherokee American singer-songwriter presenting stylishly sincere repertoire to appeal to a cross section of humans of all ages & backgrounds. Today, I offer “concerts for recent and former children” that encompasses classic Jazz, my original compositions mashed with some kinda ‘popular’ faves.

As a storytelling musician, I've been blessed to garner multiple Parents' Choice Awards when I as one of the few African American women doing so. In the 70’s, Ella Jenkins & Fitzgerald created great recordings to learn as they made an indelible impression on MOI.

I'm passionate about LOVE SO - BE READIER! God-gifts me daily with an intrinsic 'joie de vivre' for uplifting spirits - to say the least. M podcast, MULTIPLE SUPERBNESS FOUND HERE, alleviates the trauma that multiple sclerosis causes my nervous system and lets me stay productive as a storyteller!

In NYC, my ‘hometown’ via Long Island, I aligned myself with eclectic, dynamically brilliant musicians; much gratitude to my ex-husband, BAKITHI KUMALO. Paul Simon hired in his heart while creating the music of South Africa (Graceland) alongside the people’s plight (apartheid) It captured his interest, so Simon went to South African to meet the music LIVE and the musicians that I have since called my family for over 40 years. Another big blessing https://www.facebook.com/robbikumalo/

Support me keeping multiple sclerosis as ‘no longer an obstacle in my day’ because ‘huemanity’ is suffering! I can still bring God into our earthly vibration. This is the obstacle for everyone & I pray that my music will become a small part of your life's soundtrack.
